August 13 MUNICH, GERMANY
Arrive in Munich, check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is free time.
August 14 MUNICH, GERMANY
Follow your guide through the charming city of Munich on a walking tour. Visit the Hofbraeuhaus and enjoy a beer and pretzel tasting.
August 15 MUNICH - VILSHOFEN - EMBARKATION
Transfer from Munich to Vilshofen. Board your ship. Later, attend an exclusive Oktoberfest celebration with traditional beer, Bavarian folk music and dancing. (B,D)
August 16 VILSHOFEN - PASSAU
Explore Vilshofen's beautiful old town before cruising to Passau, known as the "City of Three Rivers." Join a walking tour or go on a Danube bike tour. (B,L,D)
August 17 PASSAU - LINZ
The ship arrives in Linz. Opt for a full-day excursion to Salzburg where you'll tour the historic center, Mirabell Gardens, and Residenz Square. En route to Salzburg, stop at Mondsee, home of the famed Basilica St. Michael and site of the wedding scene in The Sound of Music. Alternatively, you can go on a guided bike tour along the Linz' famed "Culture Mile" and the Danube. (B,L,D)
August 18 STRUDENGAU - WACHAU - DUERNSTEIN
Cruise through the Strudengau and Wachau valleys to Weissenkirchen. You can choose to join a walking tour in Duernstein along its cobblestone streets to the Baroque Stiftskirche, and then visit Melk's magnificent Benedictine Abbey. For the more active, take a bike ride along the Danube. As an alternative excursion, visit a local apricot grower and enjoy the regionís finest apricot treats. In the evening, enjoy a special wine tasting of locally grown Riesling and Gruener Veltliner in Weissenkirchen. (B,L,D)
August 19 VIENNA
Your Vienna city tour showcases a treasure trove of gems, including the majestic Opera House and the former Imperial Palace. Your tour concludes in the historic city center with a visit to St. Stephen's Cathedral. Or if you prefer an active tour, take a guided bike ride through Vienna. During the afternoon, enjoy leisure time to explore this iconic city. (B,L,D)
August 20 VIENNA - BRATISLAVA
Host to the crowning ceremonies of 11 Hungarian kings and queens between 1536 and 1830, Bratislava certainly has earned the title "Coronation City of Kings," as you'll discover during your walking tour. For a more active adventure, hike up to Bratislava Castle, offering magnificent views of the city. (B,L,D)
August 21 BUDAPEST
Your tour of Budapest begins at the Great Market Hall, where you'll discover plenty of delicious food and shopping. Afterwards, visit both the Buda (hilly) and Pest (flat) sides of the Danube River. See the 19th-century Chain Bridge, which connects the Buda district with Pest; and the UNESCO-designated Castle Hill district, which contains some of the city's most important medieval monuments and museums. As an alternative choice, you can hike up to Castle Hill for breathtaking views of the city below. Spend your last evening on board cruising past the famed Parliament Building as the city turns on all her dazzling lights. (B,L,D)

All prices are based on double occupancy. Prices and itinerary are subject to change at any time without prior notification. Prices do not include travel insurance, tips, round trip air from the U.S. etc. The full deposit payment of $450 per person double occupancy is due NOW in order to make a firm reservation ($900 per cabin). Flight arrangements are offered by AMAWATERWAYS and can be booked through Kerstin's Deaf Travel. A passport, valid for 6 months beyond the completion date of your travel and an ETA are required. Appropriate physical fitness is required since the tour includes walking at each stop. Minimum group size: 20 guests, maximum group size: approx. 40 guests.
